The Richmond Hill Harley Owners Group was founded on February 22, 1988.
In January 1999, it was renamed the York Region Harley Owners Group to reflect
the larger territory that Davies Harley-Davidson now served.
Mike Gorman was appointed as the first Director of the York Region HOG Chapter.
Mike is well known in the riding community for his charity work with the Ride for Sight
and the Forever Yonge Ride.
The first meeting of the Chapter and first sign up of members took place on April 6th, 1999,
at an Open House at the new Richmond Hill location of Davies Harley-Davidson.
Over 200 people showed up and within a few short months the Chapter had over 140 members.
"John Caseley " has been confirmed Director for 2011.
